The theme for the workshop is the heart of Japanese beauty and way of tying. Kasumi Hourai teaches the basics applications, transitions and techniques of her style but also some safety measures that allow you to focus on the deep, loving connection and careful handling in shibari practice.
Kasumi Hourai takes a lot of inspiration from e.g. ikebana and this workshop focuses on combining distinctive Japanese beauty with kinbaku including tokonawa (semenawa when lying down).

Application: The workshop slots are filled in order of application assuming that the competence requirements are met. The workshop slots are limited in order to guarantee a good experience for the participants. Please read the competence requirements before registering. In order to register, fill out this form carefully. Incomplete registrations will not be considered. Note that the registration is binding.
Selection result: We will start going through the applications during the first week of registration. Information about the selection result and placement in queue will be sent via email latest during Sunday 28.1.2024.
Payment: Note that when receiving a positive selection result, you will also receive payment information to secure your slot in the workshop. The deadline for the full workshop payment is Wednesday 7.2.2024. If we have not received your payment or a receipt by this date, your slot will be released to the next applicant in the queue. If the participation is cancelled on behalf of the applicants, paid fees will not be refunded.
